One Giant and Three Super earths

THREE 'super Earths' discovered including a 'melting volcanic world made largely of lava'

ASTRONOMERS have discovered a new solar system made up of three huge planets and a fourth mega-world orbiting a star like our sun.

The four-planet system had been hidden from view in a far-flung part of the Milky Way galaxy, 21 light years from Earth.

The four planets - one dubbed a giant and three super-Earths are orbiting a dwarf star called HD219134.

Dwarf stars - like our sun are actually normal stars as opposed to super or super-giant stars.

Super-Earths, made of rock, gas or both, have masses more than Earth's but are lighter than the gas giants Neptune, Saturn or Jupiter.

How Humble is God
